Sexual Counselling Clinic (also known as Psychosexual Medicine)
The clinic sees people with any problems related to sex. We see problems such as vaginismus, loss of libido and unexplained dyspareunia and any issues where sexuality is a prominent feature.
These problems may arise after natural events such as childbirth or menopause, after major illness such as cancer, or spontaneously in a woman’s lifetime. Our clinic particularly specialises in helping the patient explore the emotional issues relevant to her problem. It works as a complementary service to the other specialist services at the Women’s.
