The Women’s Welcome Centre is a warm and friendly space for our patients, their families and other visitors to enjoy.

The Welcome Centre is an ideal place for breastfeeding and some quiet time. It’s a place to relax between clinic appointments, during your hospital stay or while visiting a patient.

Find the Welcome Centre on the Ground level, from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Facilities

  • Free guest Wi-Fi
  • Mobile phone charging station
  • Accessible sit-stand desks/tables
  • Additional quiet area or sensory space with reduced lighting, reclining couch, couch and the ability to 'screen off' the space for privacy.

Welcome Centre staff can:

  • show you through our comprehensive Health Information Library. You may like to browse or borrow a book or DVD or take a brochure.
  • help you find information on women's health issues in English and other community languages
  • make you refreshments
  • aid with computer searches for health information
  • explain the process for booking Childbirth Education classes
  • assist with Health Hub app set up and support, to view details of your care at the Women's
  • provide mindfulness colouring images or pencils.

The Women’s Welcome Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
