Jennifer Danielewski PhD
Dr Jennifer Danielewski is a molecular biologist who completed a PhD in 2000 on the genetics of pre-eclampsia at the Women's Department of Perinatal Medicine and the Department of Genetics at Latrobe University. Since then she has continued to pursue the field of gene mapping, working on a variety of projects involving complex human disease and QTLs in livestock. In 2007 she returned to the Women's where she has been working on the human papillomavirus (HPV) and its association with cancer and other benign lesions, as well as the role of infections in preterm labour using molecular technique on amniotic fluid of women having amniocentesis.
