The Royal Women's Hospital Foundation raises funds to support the vital work of the Women’s, Australia’s first and largest specialist hospital for women and newborns.
The Foundation relies on community supporters, donors, charitable trusts and patients past and present, who understand and appreciate the value and specialist care the Women's provides.
As a public hospital offering a world-class service, every donation counts. Donations enable us to drive innovation and progress across all areas of the hospital and to focus on new initiatives that will make a big difference to the women and babies of this generation and the next.
While the Women’s is a public hospital, it relies on the generous support of donors to fund vital clinical research, provide specialist support services, and buy much need equipment for our hospital.
By donating to the Women’s Foundation, you are directly supporting thousands of women and babies, many of whom are struggling with complex health issues and social challenges, such as homelessness and family violence.
We have a small team led by the Foundation’s General Manager, Lisa Trainor, supported by the Royal Women’s Foundation Board and a wonderful group of dedicated volunteers.
The Women's Foundation is based in Chelsea House, across the road from the Women's site in Parkville.
