The Koori Maternity Service Education Program (KMS) has been developed in partnership with VACCHO and the KMS Aboriginal Health Workers and Midwives, providing current, evidence based education online and face to face.
The online program has been designed to support the KMS workforce, to improve the health of Aboriginal mothers and babies through sharing and learning. Allowing members to connect from a distance, sessions are delivered in an interactive forum with expert guest speakers.
Additionally, face to face workshops are facilitated in regional locations by MSEP educators and guest speakers. Workshops include clinical simulations and skills stations, yarning sessions, cultural activities, and team networking.
Information will be sent out to KMS services on a regular basis.
Contact the MSEP team for further information and bookings.
